When is your birthday?

I don’t know. When my family found me, the vet said I was between 3 & 5 years old. That would make me somewhere between 10 & 12 years old now.

Were you adopted as a baby or as an adult?

See above.

Where were you born?

New Mexico. My family found me by the side of the highway near Taos.

Have you traveled outside of MN?

Yes, I got to fly from New Mexico to Connecticut where I lived for 2 years and then I flew to Minneapolis. Thank goodness for valium.

Do you share the house with a cat/bird/critter?

My dog friend, Molly, lives with me.

Who is the boss in your house?

I am. No question about it. Except during full moons, when Molly gets mad at me.

Do you have a doggie girlfriend/boyfriend?

No. Who needs them?

How would you spend your ideal day?

Chasing rabbits and mice through the meadows and hills.

Who are your best friends?

Molly and my family.

What is your favorite collar you own?

I just got a new pirate collar from my family’s spring break trip. Pretty spiffy.

What are your favorite dog foods?

Anything with lamb and rice in it

What are your favorite people foods?

MEAT, cheese, peanut butter, pizza

What is your favorite treat?

Doggie cookies – but I like possum, too.

Where is your favorite place for a sleepover?

In the woods

I have an upstairs and downstairs bed. It’s great. I sleep by my mom in my own bed at night.

I actually can get my own food if needed. I did so for awhile in the mountains of New Mexico when I was living on my own.

I was about one. Mom found me on Petfinders.com.

Where were you born?

Bridgeport, Connecticut

Have you traveled outside of MN?

Yes, I had to fly here with a company that moves animals. I got to visit Washington, DC, on a layover.

Do you share the house with a cat/bird/critter?

Yes, my sister, Lily. She came from New Mexico.

Who is the boss in your house?

Lily and I take turns bossing each other, but Mom rules the roost.

Do you have a doggie girlfriend/boyfriend?

No, but there is a cute black lab I look at a lot. His name is Breezer.

How would you spend your ideal day?

Running through the meadows

My people family

I can shake and sit and tilt my head in such a way as to let my family know they are doing something really stupid.

Congrats to Steve and Jack!

You guys rock!

They have qualified to participate in the

North American Dog Agility Championships

in Gillete, Wyoming in September!

Steve and Jack have been in our Agility classes here at Paws Inn for the past few years and we couldn't be more proud of them! You two deserve it! We wish you all the luck but we know you will do great!

Bud will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a very special guy. He was my friend always willing to help me out with whatever it was that I asked of him. Watch the kids, help in training class, or just being himself.

As you all know, you couldn't come to Paws Inn Resort and leave without saying hi and giving him a pat on the head. he just didn't allow that.

His battle with Cancer ended the afternoon of Thursday April 3rd. It was very rapid. He got up in the morning, went out, and had breakfast. By the afternoon, he was unable to get up himself. By 2 PM, he could no longer lift his head. So I made the hard decision to let him go.

Bud came into our life in September 1996 and left us April 2008.

We we blessed for having him for so long...but miss him everyday.

I love going to class!

Hi! My name is Demsey and I'm a puggle. I just love coming to Paws Inn Resort for class!

Here's what my mom wrote about how excited I get going to class!

"Demsey started taking classes in January at Paws Inn Resort. She loves going to class so much that all we have to do is say " Should we go to class?" and she is racing you out the door. Even when we are pulling up to Paws Inn, she goes crazy! She can't wait to get out of the car and go see all her friends. She loves playtime the most! She is so energetic and the other dogs love to run and play with her.
She really likes going to Paws Inn!!"
